On the 24th and 25th of September 2011, Phoenix Divers Ltd along with The Underwater Film Studios hosted the very popular and enormously fun charity event "The Gun Run" in total we raised £4,150.00 for Help for Heroes....

World Record Attempt!!!

On the 13th of November, Phoenix Divers Ltd along with Basildon Hospital Radio 1287 officially broke the Guinness World Record for the Longest Underwater Broadcast ever!!! Maria Holland From BHR managed an incredible 4 Hours 4 Mins and 23 Seconds

Phoenix Divers Charity Donations

The month of May 2010 saw Phoenix Divers LTD dontaing £400.00 to Basildon Hospital Radio, this radio station is run from the donations received. Watch this space as we have a rather noval Idea to raise some more funds for this very worth while Local cause..... .

December 2009 Phoenix Divers managed a staggering £2,000 between our 9 divers with a grand total of over £8,400 being raised for the RNLI in all many thanks to all the brave Santas - and 1 snowman now we are looking forward to December 2010 and taking part again with the Scuba Santas please let Debby know if you are interested in joining us

Phoenix Divers LTD and Phoenix Dive Club have just donated £600.00 to Project Aware many thanks to all who helped raise this fantastic amount .

These trips and holidays are excellent fun, and a fantastic way to go dive places that you'd never thought of... Phoenix Divers Ltd get their Winkles out for charity!

What a 'green' bunch we are, not to mention fun-loving! A group of us divers from Phoenix Dive Club and Phoenix Divers Ltd have come up with a unique way of raising funds for Project AWARE and other charities. In August 2006 a group of us spent a morning at Lulworth Cove in beautiful Dorset, conducting a beach and underwater clean up. As well as collecting six sacks of rubbish we also discovered that there were a large amount of ‘Winkle’ shells present on the beach.

One club member recalled the time when his brother had joined in the local Pub’s Winkle Club; each member of the ‘Winkle Club’ had to produce their Winkle shell every time ’’GET YOUR WINKLE OUT’’ was shouted. A fine was imposed for any member of the club who did not produce or did not have their winkle and all the proceeds were donated to charity.

This fantastic idea led to the birth of the ‘Phoenix Winkle Club’. With over 30 members now in 2009 and still growing the group have already raised over £600 this year alone.

If you want to become a member of the exclusive Phoenix Winkle Club, have a word with Phil, Debby, Vicy or Colin, and you'll be getting your winkle out for Project AWARE before you know it!

New Website Goes Live!

After quite a while in the making, the new Phoenix Divers Ltd website is finally up and running.

Featuring an all new lighter, brighter and fresher look, the site should be easier to navigate, and much more pleasing on the eye.

The new site is what's known as a 'Content Managed System' which is based on PHP and MySQL technologies, making it very expandable, easy to update, and will allow a whole host of features that should benefit everyone who uses it.

The site will be constantly updated, so keep remembering to check back regularly to see what is going on, and what we at Phoenix Divers Ltd are up to.

The site now includes a built in Gallery, Forum, News Section, Calendar and Downloads section! Have a browse through - who knows what you'll find!
